And Jehovah God called to the man and said to him, Where are you?

And He said, Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten from the tree of which I commanded you not to eat?

And Jehovah God said to the woman, What is this you have done? And the woman said, The serpent deceived me, and I ate.

So he called him and said to him, What is this I hear about you? Give an account of your stewardship, for you can no longer be steward.

Now we know that whatever the Law says, it says to those who are under the Law, that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.

And he said, The Jews have agreed to ask that you bring Paul down to the council tomorrow, as though they were going to make more specific inquiries about him.

So the commander let the young man depart, and commanded him, Tell no one that you have disclosed these things to me.

If your brother, the son of your mother, your son or your daughter, the wife of your bosom, or your friend who is as your own soul, secretly entices you, saying, Let us go and serve other gods, which you have not known, neither you nor your fathers,

you shall not consent to him or listen to him, nor shall your eye pity him, nor shall you spare him or conceal him;

Though hand join to hand, the wicked shall not be held innocent, but the seed of the righteous shall be delivered.

Everyone who is proud in heart is an abomination to Jehovah; though hand join in hand, he shall not go unpunished.

When you saw a thief, then you were pleased to be with him, and have been a partaker with adulterers.

Both hands are on evil, to do it well. Both the ruler and the judge ask for a bribe. And the great one speaks the lust of his soul; and they weave it together.

But Peter said, Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and keep back part of the proceeds of the land for yourself?

While it remained, was it not your own? And after it was sold, was it not in your own control? Why have you put this deed in your heart? You have not lied to men but to God.

Therefore the people quarreled with Moses, and said, Give us water, that we may drink. And Moses said to them, Why do you quarrel with me? Why do you tempt Jehovah?

And he called the name of the place Massah and Meribah, because of the quarreling of the children of Israel, and because they tempted Jehovah, saying, Is Jehovah in our midst or not?

because all these men seeing My glory and the signs which I have done in Egypt and in the wilderness, and tested Me now these ten times, and have not heeded My voice,

And they tested the Mighty God in their heart by asking for food for the lust of their soul.

Behold, He struck the rock, so that the waters gushed out, and the streams overflowed. Can He give bread also? Can He provide flesh for His people?

harden not your hearts, as in the strife, as in the day of testing in the wilderness,

For forty years I was grieved with that generation, and said, It is a people who go astray in their hearts, and they have not known My ways.

Jesus said to him, It is written again, You shall not tempt the Lord your God.

nor let us test Christ, as some of them also tempted, and were destroyed by serpents;

And the young men arose and wrapped him up, carried him out, and buried him.

And Elisha was sitting in his house, and the elders were sitting with him. And the king sent a man before him, but before the messenger came to him, he said to the elders, Do you see how this son of a murderer has sent someone to take away my head? Behold, when the messenger comes, shut the door, and hold him fast at the door. Is not the sound of his master's feet behind him?

And how shall they preach if they are not sent? As it is written: How beautiful are the feet of those preaching the gospel of peace, bringing glad tidings of good things.
