And Jehovah God said to the woman, What is this you have done? And the woman said, The serpent deceived me, and I ate.

And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her Seed; He shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise His heel.

And to Adam He said, Because you have heeded the voice of your wife, and have eaten from the tree of which I commanded you, saying, You shall not eat of it: Cursed is the ground for your sake; in toil you shall eat of it all the days of your life.

Then a spirit came forward and stood before Jehovah, and said, I will entice him.

And Jehovah said to him, In what way? And he said, I will go out and be a spirit of falsehood in the mouth of all his prophets. And Jehovah said, You shall entice him, and also prevail. Go out and do so.

Now Satan stood up against Israel, and moved David to number Israel.

And Joab answered, May Jehovah make His people a hundred times more than they are. But, my lord the king, are they not all my lord's servants? Why then does my lord desire this thing? Why should he be a cause of guilt to Israel?

And when the tempter came to Him, he said, If You are the Son of God, speak that these stones may become bread.

Then the devil takes Him up into the holy city, and sets Him on the wing of the temple,

Jesus said to him, It is written again, You shall not tempt the Lord your God.

And he says to Him, All these things I will give to You if You will fall down and do homage to me.

Then the devil left Him, and behold, angels came and ministered to Him.

When anyone hears the Word of the kingdom, and does not understand it, then the wicked one comes and snatches away what was sown in his heart. This is that which was sown by the wayside.

Then Satan entered Judas, surnamed Iscariot, being numbered among the twelve.

And supper being ended, the devil having already put it into the heart of Judas Iscariot, Simon's son, to betray Him,

And after the morsel, Satan entered him. Then Jesus said to him, What you do, do quickly.

Put on all the armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

Therefore take up all the armor of God, that you may be able to resist in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.

Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.

So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who leads the whole world astray; he was cast out onto the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

And they overcame him through the blood of the Lamb and through the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives unto death.

Then Peter said to her, How is it that you have agreed together to test the Spirit of the Lord? Behold, the feet of those who have buried your husband are at the door, and they will carry you out.

And you say, What does the Mighty God know? Can He judge through the deep darkness?

Yet they say, YAH does not see, nor does the God of Jacob perceive it.

He who planted the ear, shall He not hear? He who formed the eye, shall He not see?

Woe to those who are profound to hide their counsel from Jehovah! And their works are in the dark, and they say, Who sees us? And, Who knows us?

Can anyone hide himself in secret places so that I shall not see him? says Jehovah. Do I not fill the heavens and earth? says Jehovah.

Ephraim circles around Me with lies, and the house of Israel with deceit; but Judah still walks with God and is faithful with the saints.

If a man vows a vow unto Jehovah, or swears an oath to bind his soul to a bond, he shall not break his word; he shall do according to all that proceeds out of his mouth.

When you vow a vow unto Jehovah your God, you shall not delay to pay it; for Jehovah your God will seek to require it of you, and it would be sin in you.

It is a snare for a man to rashly devote something as holy, and afterward to reconsider his vows.

When you vow a vow to God, do not hesitate to pay it; for He has no pleasure in fools. Pay that which you have vowed.

You, therefore, who teach another, do you not teach yourself? You who preach that a man should not steal, do you steal?

You who say, Do not commit adultery, do you commit adultery? You who abhor idols, do you rob temples?
