saying to Aaron, Make us gods to go before us; as for this Moses who brought us out of the land of Egypt, we do not know what has become of him.

And Abimelech said, I do not know who has done this thing; you did not tell me, nor had I heard of it until today.

But he refused and said to his master's wife, Behold, my master does not know what is with me in the house, and he has entrusted all that he has into my hand.

And Joseph said to them, What deed is this you have done? Did you not know that such a man as I can certainly practice divination?

Now when the people saw that Moses delayed coming down from the mountain, the people gathered together to Aaron, and said to him, Arise, make us gods that shall go before us; for as for this Moses, the man who brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we do not know what has become of him.

Therefore please come, curse this people for me, for they are too mighty for me. Perhaps I shall prevail and strike them and drive them out of the land, for I have perceived that he whom you bless is blessed, and he whom you curse is cursed.

God has not cast away His people whom He foreknew. Or do you not know what the Scripture says of Elijah, how he pleads with God against Israel, saying,

But if I live on in the flesh, this will mean fruit from my labor; yet what I shall choose I do not know.

For those who dwell in Jerusalem, and their rulers, because they did not know Him, nor even the voices of the Prophets which are read every Sabbath, have fulfilled them in condemning Him.

then it shall be, if it is done unintentionally, without the knowledge of the congregation, that the whole congregation shall offer one young bull as a burnt offering, as a soothing aroma unto Jehovah, with its grain offering and its drink offering, according to the ordinance, and one kid of the goats as a sin offering.

It shall be forgiven the whole congregation of the children of Israel and the stranger who sojourns among them, because all the people did it unintentionally.

Thus the priest shall make atonement for the soul who sins unintentionally, when he sins unintentionally before Jehovah, to make atonement for him; and it shall be forgiven him.

But the soul who does anything loftily, whether he is a native or a sojourner, that one blasphemes Jehovah, and that soul shall be cut off from among his people.

And they divided His garments and cast lots.

But behold, He speaks boldly, and they say nothing to Him. Perhaps the rulers truly know that this is truly the Christ?

However, we know where this Man is from; but when the Christ comes, no one knows where He is from.

They answered and said to him, Are you also from Galilee? Search and look, for no prophet has arisen out of Galilee.

And these things they will do to you because they do not know the Father nor Me.

which none of the rulers of this age knew; for had they known, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.

But their minds were blinded. For until this day the same veil remains unlifted in the reading of the Old Covenant, which is being done away in Christ.

although I was formerly a blasphemer, a persecutor, and an insolent man; but I received mercy because I did it ignorantly in unbelief.
