And Ananias went his way and entered the house; and laying his hands on him he said, Brother Saul, the Lord Jesus, who appeared to you on the road as you came, has sent me that you may receive your sight and be filled with the Holy Spirit.

Immediately there fell from his eyes something like scales, and he received his sight at once; and he arose and was immersed.

Open my eyes, that I may see wondrous things from Your Law.

Jehovah opens the eyes of the blind; Jehovah raises those who are bowed down; Jehovah loves the righteous.

And in that day the deaf shall hear the words of the book, and the eyes of the blind shall see out of their gloom and darkness.

And the eyes of those who see shall not be dim, and the ears of those who hear shall listen.

Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped.

to open the blind eyes, to bring out the prisoners from the prison, those who sit in darkness out of the prison house.

Bring out the blind people who have eyes, and the deaf who have ears.

The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim deliverance to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set free with deliverance those who are oppressed;

And He opened their mind to understand the Scriptures.

And Jesus said, For judgment I have come into this world, that those who do not see may see, and that those who see may become blind.

whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, so that the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should not shine on them.

For it is God who commanded light to shine out of darkness, who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints,

that the Christ would suffer, that He would be the first to rise from the dead, and would proclaim light to the Jewish people and to the Gentiles.

For thus the Lord has commanded us: I have set you as a light of the Gentiles, that you should be for salvation to the ends of the earth.

The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light; those who dwell in the land of the shadow of death, upon them the light has shined.

And He said, It is but a little thing that You should be My servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to bring back the preserved ones of Israel; I will also give You for a light to the nations, to be My salvation to the ends of the earth.

Arise, shine; for your light has come, and the glory of Jehovah has risen upon you.

And the nations shall come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your dawning.

But to you who fear My name, the Sun of Righteousness shall rise up, with healing on His wings. And you shall go out and frisk like calves of the stall.

The people who sat in darkness have seen a great Light, and upon those sitting in the region and shadow of death, Light has sprung up.

The lamp of the body is the eye. If therefore your eye is sound, your whole body will be full of light.

But if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in you is darkness, how great is that darkness!

to give light to those who sit in darkness and the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace.

a Light to bring revelation to the Gentiles, and the Glory of Your people Israel.

In Him was life, and the life was the light of men.

There was a man sent from God, whose name was John.

He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light.

And this is the judgment, that the Light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than the Light, for their deeds were evil.

Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, I am the Light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the Light of Life.

As long as I am in the world, I am the Light of the world.

Then Jesus said to them, A little while longer the Light is with you. Walk while you have the Light, that darkness not overtake you; for he who walks in darkness does not know where he is going.

While you have the Light, believe into the Light, that you may become sons of Light. These things Jesus spoke, and departed, and was hidden from them.

For it is God who commanded light to shine out of darkness, who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness?

the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints,

having their understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God, because of the ignorance that is in them, because of the hardness of their heart;

For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light

Therefore He says: Awake, you who sleep, stand forth out from among the dead, and Christ will shine on you.

But you, brethren, are not in darkness, so that this Day should overtake you as a thief.

Therefore let us not sleep, as others do, but let us watch and be sober.

But let us who are of the day be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love, and as a helmet the hope of salvation.

But you are an elect race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people of His possession, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;

For you were like sheep going astray, but have now returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls.

Again, I write a new commandment to you, which is true in Him and in you, because the darkness is passing away, and the true light is already shining.

He who says he is in the light, and hates his brother, is in darkness until now.

Shall the prey be taken from the mighty, or the lawful captive delivered?

But thus says Jehovah, Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, and the prey of the ruthless shall escape. For I will contend with him who contends with you, and I will save your children.

He was taken from prison and from judgment; and who shall declare His generation? For He was cut off out of the land of the living; for the transgression of My people He was stricken.

Yet it pleased Jehovah to crush Him; to grieve Him; that He should give His soul as a sin-offering. He shall see His seed, He shall prolong His days, and the delight of Jehovah shall prosper in His hand.

Therefore I will apportion to Him with the great, and He shall divide the spoils with the strong; because He has poured out His soul unto death; and He was reckoned among the transgressors; and He bore the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.

When a strong man, fully armed, guards his own dwelling, his goods are at peace.

But when one stronger than he comes upon him and overcomes him, he takes from him all his armor in which he trusted, and divides his spoils.

who has delivered us from the authority of darkness and translated us into the kingdom of the Son of His love,

and that they may come to their senses and escape the snare of the devil, having been taken captive by him to do his will.

Inasmuch then as the children have partaken of flesh and blood, He Himself likewise shared in the same, that through death He might destroy him who had the power of death, that is, the devil,

and set free those who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.

He who produces sin is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this, the Son of God was made known, that He might destroy the works of the devil.

We know that we are of God, and the whole world lies in wickedness.

And he laid hold of the dragon, that serpent of old, who is the Devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years;

and he cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal on him, so that he should not lead astray the nations any more till the thousand years were finished. But after these things he must be released for a little while.

Then Peter said to them, Repent, and let every one of you be immersed in the name of Jesus Christ to the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord,

Him God has exalted to His right hand to be Prince and Savior, to give to Israel repentance and remission of sins.

To Him all the prophets witness that, through His name, everyone believing into Him will receive remission of sins.

Therefore let it be known to you, brethren, that through this One is preached to you the remission of sins;

and by Him everyone who believes is justified from all things from which you could not be justified by the Law of Moses.

Blessed is the man to whom Jehovah does not impute iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no guile.

to give knowledge of salvation to His people by the remission of their sins,

and that repentance and remission of sins be preached in His name to all nations, beginning out of Jerusalem.

just as David also describes the blessedness of the man to whom God accounts righteousness apart from works:

blessed is the man to whom the Lord shall not account sin.

nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God.

And such were some of you. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God.

In Him we have redemption through His blood, the remission of sins, according to the riches of His grace

in whom we have redemption through His blood, the remission of sins.

If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

I write to you, little children, because your sins are forgiven you through His name.

So now, brethren, I commend you to God and to the Word of His grace, which is able to build you up and give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified.

and if children, then heirs; heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together.

In Him also we have been assigned to an inheritance, being predestined according to the purpose of Him who works all things according to the counsel of His will,

who is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory.

giving thanks to the Father who has made us fit to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light;

And for this reason He is the Mediator of the new covenant, by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions under the first covenant, that those who are called may receive the promise of the eternal inheritance.

Listen, my beloved brethren: Has God not chosen the poor of this world to be rich in faith and heirs of the kingdom which He promised to those who love Him?

to an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled and that does not fade away, reserved in Heaven for you,

So now, brethren, I commend you to God and to the Word of His grace, which is able to build you up and give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified.

Sanctify them in Your Truth. Your Word is Truth.

to the church of God which is in Corinth, to those who are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called saints, with all who in every place call on the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both theirs and ours:

But out of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who was made for us from God wisdom and righteousness and sanctification and redemption;

And such were some of you. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God.

not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit,

whom He poured out on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior,

By which will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

For by one offering He has perfected for all time those who are being sanctified.

But there shall by no means enter it anything that defiles, or produces an abomination or a lie, but only those who are written in the Lamb's Book of Life.

and made no distinction between us and them, purifying their hearts by faith.

Jesus answered and said to her, If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who says to you, Give Me a drink, you would have asked Him, and He would give you living water.

but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will not ever thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into eternal life.

He who believes into Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.

But this He spoke concerning the Spirit, whom those believing into Him were about to receive; for the Holy Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.

Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,

through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice on the hope of the glory of God.

I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.

This only I want to learn from you: Did you receive the Spirit by the works of the Law, or by the hearing of faith?

that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

For by grace you are saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God;

But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
