And he summoned two centurions, saying, Prepare two hundred soldiers, seventy horsemen, and two hundred spearmen to go to Caesarea at the third hour of the night;

and provide mounts to set Paul on, and bring him safely to Felix the governor.

For I also am a man placed under authority, having soldiers under me. And I say to one, Go, and he goes; and to another, Come, and he comes; and to my servant, Do this, and he does it.

You therefore endure hardship as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.

No one serving military duty entangles himself with the affairs of this life, that he may please him who enlisted him.
