For David says concerning Him: I foresaw the Lord always before my face, for He is at my right hand, that I not be shaken.

Then the Lord spoke to Paul in the night by a vision, Do not be afraid, but speak, and do not keep silent;

For there stood by me this night an angel of God, to whom I belong and whom I serve,

saying, Do not be afraid, Paul; you must be brought before Caesar; and indeed God has granted you all those who sail with you.

Therefore we will not fear when the earth changes, when mountains are slipping into the midst of the seas.

For He shall stand at the right hand of the poor, to save him from those who condemn his soul.

Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will make you strong; yes, I will help you; yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of My righteousness.

Fear not, you worm of Jacob and men of Israel; I will help you, says Jehovah and your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel.

When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned; nor shall the flame consume you.

Therefore thus says Jehovah, If you turn back, then I will bring you back again; you shall stand before Me. And if you take the precious out from the vile, you shall be as My mouth. Let them turn back to you, but do not return to them.

And I will deliver you out of the hand of the wicked, and I will redeem you out of the grip of the terrible.

teaching them to observe all things whatever I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age. Amen.

I will not leave you orphans; I am coming to you.

For we do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, of our affliction which came to us in Asia: that we were burdened exceedingly, beyond strength, so that we despaired even of life.

who delivered us from so great a death, and does deliver us, in whom we hope that He will still deliver us,

And now I urge you to be of good cheer, for there will be no loss of life among you, but only of the ship.

Therefore be of good cheer, men, for I believe God, that it will be just as it was told me.

And behold, they brought to Him a paralytic lying on a bed. When Jesus saw their faith, He said to the paralytic, Son, be of good courage; your sins are forgiven you.

But immediately Jesus spoke to them, saying, Be of good courage! It is I. Do not be afraid.

These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have affliction; but be of good courage, I have overcome the world.

When these things were completed, Paul purposed in the Spirit, when he had passed through Macedonia and Achaia, to go to Jerusalem, saying, After I have been there, I must also see Rome.

And now, behold, I go bound in the spirit to Jerusalem, not knowing the things that will happen to me there,

and saw Him saying to me, Make haste and get out of Jerusalem quickly, for they will not receive your testimony concerning Me.

So when they had appointed him a day, many came to him at his lodging, to whom he explained and testified of the kingdom of God, persuading them concerning Jesus from both the Law of Moses and the Prophets, from morning till evening.

So when they did not agree among themselves, they were dismissed after Paul had said one word: The Holy Spirit spoke rightly through Isaiah the prophet to our fathers,

for the heart of this people has grown dull. Their ears are hard of hearing, and their eyes they have closed, that they should not see with their eyes nor hear with their ears, that they should not understand with their hearts and turn, and I should heal them.

So, as much as is in me, I am ready to preach the gospel to you who are in Rome also.

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone who is believing, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.

so that it has become evident to the whole palace guard, and to all the rest, that my bonds are in Christ;

But the Lord stood with me and strengthened me, so that the preaching of the message might be fulfilled through me, and that all the Gentiles might hear. And I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion.

And Paul dwelt two whole years in his own rented house, and received all who came to him,

preaching the kingdom of God and teaching the things concerning the Lord Jesus Christ with all confidence, without hindrance.

declaring the end from the beginning, and from antiquity things which are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all My pleasure;

The disciples said to Him, Rabbi, lately the Jews sought to stone You, and do You go there again?

But if one walks in the night, he stumbles, because the Light is not in him.
