When these things were completed, Paul purposed in the Spirit, when he had passed through Macedonia and Achaia, to go to Jerusalem, saying, After I have been there, I must also see Rome.

And when he had come to us, he took Paul's waistband, binding his own hands and feet, and said, Thus says the Holy Spirit, So shall the Jews at Jerusalem bind the man who owns this waistband, and deliver him into the hands of the Gentiles.

Then Paul answered, What do you mean by weeping and breaking my heart? For I am ready not only to be bound, but also to die at Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus.

And it came to pass, when the time had come for Him to be lifted up, that He steadfastly set His face to go to Jerusalem,

But I have an immersion to be immersed with, and how distressed I am till it is accomplished.

For the love of Christ holds us, because we judge thus: that if One died for all, then all died;

Then He took the twelve aside and said to them, Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem, and all things that are written by the prophets concerning the Son of Man will be accomplished.

They will scourge Him and kill Him. And the third day He will rise again.

Now before the Feast of the Passover, when Jesus knew that His hour had come that He should depart from this world to the Father, having loved His own who were in the world, He loved them to the end.

Jesus therefore, knowing all things coming upon Him, went forth and said to them, Whom do you seek?

whereas you do not know what will be tomorrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away.

knowing that shortly I must put off my tent, just as our Lord Jesus Christ made known to me.
