who encourages us in all our affliction, that we may be able to encourage those who are in any affliction, through the comfort by which we ourselves are encouraged by God.

whom I have sent to you for this very purpose, that you may know our affairs, and that he may encourage your hearts.

Therefore encourage one another with these words.
