And when we had sailed slowly many days, and arrived with difficulty off Cnidus, the wind not permitting us to proceed, we sailed under the shelter of Crete off Salmone.

And because the harbor was not suitable to winter in, the majority advised to set sail from there also, if by any means they could reach Phoenix, a harbor of Crete opening toward the southwest and northwest, and winter there.

For this reason I left you in Crete, that you should set in order the things that are lacking, and appoint elders in every city as I assigned you:

Who is like You, O Jehovah, among the gods? Who is like You, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders?

He does great things past finding out, yea, wonders without number.

so that I may proclaim with the voice of thanksgiving, and tell of all Your marvelous works.

O Jehovah my God, many are the wonderful works which You have done, and Your thoughts which are toward us; they cannot be recounted to You if I were to declare and speak of them, for they are more than can be numbered.

O God, You have taught me from my youth; and to this day I have declared Your marvelous works.

I will remember the works of YAH; surely I will remember Your wonders of old.

We will not hide them from their children, recounting to the following generation the praises of Jehovah, and His strength and His wonderful works that He has done.

And the heavens shall confess Your wonders, O Jehovah; Your faithfulness also in the assembly of the saints.

Declare His glory among the nations, His wonders among all peoples.

Oh, that men would give thanks unto Jehovah for His goodness, and for His wonderful works to the sons of men!

This also comes forth from Jehovah of Hosts, who is wonderful in counsel, and excels in sound wisdom.

It seemed good for me to declare the signs and wonders that the Most High God has done with me.

How great are His signs! And how mighty are His wonders! His kingdom is an eternal kingdom, and His dominion is from generation to generation.

to another works of power, to another prophecy, to another distinguishing between spirits, to another tongues of nationalities, to another the interpretation of tongues.

And God has placed some in the church: first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, after that works of power, then gifts of healing, helps, governings, tongues of nationalities.

God also bearing witness both with signs and wonders, with various works of power, and gifts of the Holy Spirit, according to His own will?
