But now I am going to Jerusalem to minister to the saints.

For it seemed good to them, and they are their debtors. For if the Gentiles have been partakers of their spiritual things, it is also their duty to minister to them in carnal things.

Then after fourteen years I went up again to Jerusalem with Barnabas, and also took Titus with me.

Now when they had gone through Phrygia and the region of Galatia, they were forbidden by the Holy Spirit to preach the Word in Asia.

So passing by Mysia, they came down to Troas.

And after he had seen the vision, immediately we sought to go to Macedonia, concluding that the Lord had called us to preach the gospel to them.

but took leave of them, saying, I must by all means keep this coming feast in Jerusalem; but I will return again to you, God willing. And he sailed from Ephesus.

And now, behold, I go bound in the spirit to Jerusalem, not knowing the things that will happen to me there,

Who is he who speaks and it occurs, if the Lord has not commanded it?

Now I do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, that I often planned to come to you (but was prevented until now), that I might have some fruit among you also, just as among the other Gentiles.

And in this confidence I intended to come to you before now, that you might have a second benefit;

Therefore, when I was planning this, did I do it lightly? Or the things I plan, do I plan according to the flesh, that with me there should be Yes, Yes, and No, No?

After the uproar had ceased, Paul called the disciples to himself, embraced them, and departed to go to Macedonia.

and stayed three months. And when the Jews plotted against him as he was about to sail to Syria, he decided to return through Macedonia.

These men, going ahead, waited for us at Troas.

For Paul had decided to sail past Ephesus, so that he might not spend time in Asia; for he was hurrying to be at Jerusalem, if possible, on the Day of Pentecost.

And now, behold, I go bound in the spirit to Jerusalem, not knowing the things that will happen to me there,

And finding disciples, we stayed there seven days. They told Paul through the Spirit not to go up to Jerusalem.

And when he had come to us, he took Paul's waistband, binding his own hands and feet, and said, Thus says the Holy Spirit, So shall the Jews at Jerusalem bind the man who owns this waistband, and deliver him into the hands of the Gentiles.

Then Paul answered, What do you mean by weeping and breaking my heart? For I am ready not only to be bound, but also to die at Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus.

And after those days we packed and went up to Jerusalem.

Now after many years I came to bring alms and offerings to my nation,

in the midst of which some Jews from Asia found me purified in the temple, neither with a crowd nor with tumult.

But now I am going to Jerusalem to minister to the saints.

For it pleased those from Macedonia and Achaia to make certain gifts for the poor among the saints who are in Jerusalem.

but took leave of them, saying, I must by all means keep this coming feast in Jerusalem; but I will return again to you, God willing. And he sailed from Ephesus.

But the following night the Lord stood by him and said, Be of good courage, Paul; for as you have testified of Me in Jerusalem, so you must also bear witness at Rome.

Then Paul said, I stand at Caesar's judgment seat, where I ought to be judged. To the Jews I have done no wrong, as you very well know.

Then Festus, when he had conferred with the council, answered, You have appealed to Caesar? To Caesar you shall go.

And when it was decided that we should sail to Italy, they delivered Paul and some other prisoners to one named Julius, a centurion of the Augustan Regiment.

saying, Do not be afraid, Paul; you must be brought before Caesar; and indeed God has granted you all those who sail with you.

And when we came to Rome, the centurion delivered the prisoners to the captain of the guard; but Paul was permitted to dwell by himself with the soldier who guarded him.

And Paul dwelt two whole years in his own rented house, and received all who came to him,

preaching the kingdom of God and teaching the things concerning the Lord Jesus Christ with all confidence, without hindrance.

So, as much as is in me, I am ready to preach the gospel to you who are in Rome also.

But now no longer having a place in these regions, and having a great desire these many years to come to you,

But I know that when I come to you, I shall come in the fullness of the blessing of the gospel of Christ.

But I want you to know, brethren, that the things which happened to me have actually turned out for the furtherance of the gospel,

and most of the brethren in the Lord, having become confident by my bonds, are much more bold to speak the Word without fear.
