For Paul had decided to sail past Ephesus, so that he might not spend time in Asia; for he was hurrying to be at Jerusalem, if possible, on the Day of Pentecost.

Then Paul answered, What do you mean by weeping and breaking my heart? For I am ready not only to be bound, but also to die at Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus.

So when he would not be persuaded, we kept quiet, saying, The will of the Lord be done.

And when they found Him, they said to Him, Everyone is looking for You.

But He said to them, Let us go into the neighboring towns, that I may preach there also, because for this purpose I have come forth.

Now concerning our brother Apollos, I strongly urged him to come to you with the brethren, but it was not at all his desire to come at this time; however, he will come when he has opportunity.
