And He has made from one blood every nation of men to dwell everywhere on the face of the earth, and has determined their preappointed times and the boundaries of their dwellings,

for in Him we live and move and exist, as also some of your own poets have said, For we are also His offspring.

So when they heard that, they raised their voice to God with one accord and said: Lord, You are God, who made the heavens and earth and the sea, and all that is in them,

Blessed is he who has the Mighty God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in Jehovah his God,

Heaven, even the heavens, are Jehovah's; but the earth He has given to the sons of men.

However, the Most High does not dwell in temples made with hands, as the prophet says:

but who is able to build Him a house, since the heavens and the Heaven of heavens cannot contain Him? Who am I then, that I should build Him a house, except to burn sacrifices with smoke before Him?

But will God indeed dwell with men on the earth? Behold, the heavens and the Heaven of heavens cannot contain You. How much less this house which I have built.

Thus says Jehovah, Heaven is My throne, and earth My footstool. Where, then, is the house that you would build for Me? And where is the place of My rest?

You do homage to what you do not know; we do homage to what we know, for salvation is of the Jews.

But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will do homage to the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father seeks such to do homage to Him.
