Then immediately the brethren sent Paul away, to go as though toward the sea; but both Silas and Timothy remained there.

Then the disciples took him by night and let him down through the wall in a basket.

And he summoned two centurions, saying, Prepare two hundred soldiers, seventy horsemen, and two hundred spearmen to go to Caesarea at the third hour of the night;

and provide mounts to set Paul on, and bring him safely to Felix the governor.

Then she let them down by a rope through the window, for her house was on the side of the wall; she dwelt in the wall.

And she said to them, Go to the mountain, lest the pursuers meet you. Hide there three days, until the pursuers return; and afterward you may go your way.

So Michal let David down through a window. And he went and fled and escaped.

So when Saul sent messengers to take David, she said, He is sick.

And when the messengers had come in, there was the image in the bed, with a quilt of goats' hair at the head.

And Jonathan said to David, Go in peace, since we have both sworn in the name of Jehovah, saying, May Jehovah be between you and me, and between your seed and my seed, forever. So he rose up and departed, and Jonathan went into the city.

But when the Jews from Thessalonica learned that the Word of God was preached by Paul at Berea, they came there also and stirred up the crowds.

And Sopater of Berea accompanied him to Asia; also Aristarchus and Secundus of the Thessalonians, and Gaius of Derbe, and Timothy, and Tychicus and Trophimus of Asia.

And Paul, as his custom was, went in to them, and for three Sabbaths reasoned with them from the Scriptures,

they became aware of it and fled to Lystra and Derbe, cities of Lycaonia, and to the surrounding region.

And they were preaching the gospel there.

But even after we had suffered before and were spitefully treated at Philippi, as you know, we were bold in our God to speak the gospel of God to you in much conflict.
