Then he said to them, You know how unlawful it is for a Jewish man to keep company with or go to one of another nation. But God has shown me that I should not call any man common or unclean.

Then Peter opened his mouth and said: In truth I perceive that God shows no partiality.

But in every nation whoever fears Him and works righteousness is acceptable to Him.

and made no distinction between us and them, purifying their hearts by faith.

for it is sanctified by the Word of God and prayer.

For if the blood of bulls and goats and the ashes of a heifer, sprinkling the unclean, sanctifies for the purifying of the flesh,

how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without blemish to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God.
