Then the Pharisees also asked him again how he had received his sight. He said to them, He put clay on my eyes, and I washed, and I see.

but by what means he now sees we do not know, or who opened his eyes we do not know. He is of age; ask him. He will speak for himself.

Then they said to him again, What did He do to you? How did He open your eyes?

Nicodemus answered and said to Him, How can these things be?

As you do not know what is the way of the spirit, nor how the bones grow in the womb of a pregnant woman; even so you do not know the works of God who makes everything.

and should sleep and rise, night and day, and the seed should sprout and grow, he himself does not know how.

But someone will say, How are the dead raised up? And with what body do they come?
