Did not Moses give you the Law, yet none of you keeps the Law? Why do you seek to kill Me?

The Pharisees heard the crowd murmuring these things concerning Him, and the Pharisees and the chief priests sent officers to take Him.

I know that you are Abraham's seed, but you seek to kill Me, because My Word has no place in you.

Then they took up stones to throw at Him; but Jesus was hidden and went forth out of the temple, going through the midst of them, and so passed by.

Then the Jews took up stones again to stone Him.

Therefore they sought again to seize Him, but He escaped out of their hand.

Now both the chief priests and the Pharisees had given a command, that if anyone knew where He was, he should report it, that they might seize Him.

And the scribes and chief priests heard it and sought how they might destroy Him; for they feared Him, because all the crowd was astonished at His doctrine.

And He was teaching daily in the temple. But the chief priests, the scribes, and the chief of the people sought to destroy Him,

and were unable to figure out anything to do; for all the people hung on to hear Him.

And the chief priests and the scribes that same hour sought to lay hands on Him, but they feared the people; for they knew He had spoken this parable against them.

Then Jesus said to them, My time has not yet come, but your time is always ready.

You go up to the feast. I am not yet going up to the feast, for My time has not yet been fulfilled.

And some of them wanted to take Him, but no one laid hands on Him.

The officers answered, No man ever spoke like this Man.

These words Jesus spoke in the treasury, as He taught in the temple; and no one laid hands on Him, for His hour had not yet come.

It is necessary for Me to work the works of Him who sent Me while it is day; the night is coming when no one is able to work.

Jesus answered, Are there not twelve hours in the day? If anyone walks in the day, he does not stumble, because he sees the light of this world.

But if one walks in the night, he stumbles, because the Light is not in him.

Surely the wrath of man shall praise You; with the remainder of wrath You shall gird Yourself.

declaring the end from the beginning, and from antiquity things which are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all My pleasure;

And He said to them, Go, tell that fox, Behold, I cast out demons and perform cures today and tomorrow, and the third day I am being perfected.

Nevertheless I must journey today, tomorrow, and the day following; for it cannot be allowed to happen for a prophet to perish outside of Jerusalem.

When I was with you daily in the temple, you did not stretch forth your hands against Me. But this is your hour, and the authority of darkness.
