I have preached righteousness in the great assembly; lo, I have not restrained My lips, O Jehovah, You know.

I have not hidden Your righteousness within my heart; I have declared Your faithfulness and Your salvation; I have not hidden Your lovingkindness and Your truth from the great assembly.

My mouth shall recount Your righteousness and Your salvation all the day; for I do not know their number.

I will go in the strength of the Lord Jehovah; I will keep in remembrance Your righteousness; Yours alone.

The wicked flee when no one pursues, but the righteous are bold as a lion.

He shall not fail nor be discouraged, until He has established justice on the earth; and the islands shall wait for His Law.

For the Lord Jehovah will help Me; therefore I have not been ashamed. Therefore I have set My face like flint, and I know that I shall not be ashamed.

He is near who justifies Me; who will contend with Me? Let us stand together; who is the master of My judgment? Let him come near Me.

And they sent to Him their disciples with the Herodians, saying, Teacher, we know that You are true, and teach the way of God in truth; nor do You care about anyone, for You do not regard the person of men.

Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated and untrained men, they marveled. And they understood that they were with Jesus.

and for me, that utterance may be given to me, that I may open my mouth boldly to make known the mystery of the gospel,

for which I am an ambassador in chains; that in it I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.

and most of the brethren in the Lord, having become confident by my bonds, are much more bold to speak the Word without fear.

For God has not given us a spirit of timidity, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

Therefore do not be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me His prisoner, but partake in the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God,

Have any of the rulers or the Pharisees believed into Him?

His parents said these things because they feared the Jews, for the Jews had agreed already that if anyone should confess that He was Christ, he would be expelled from the synagogue.

Then the chief priests and the Pharisees gathered a council and said, What shall we do? For this Man performs many signs.

And one of them, Caiaphas, being high priest that year, said to them, You know nothing at all,

Now this he did not say from himself; but being high priest that year he prophesied that Jesus was about to die for the nation,

Then, from that day on, they took counsel to kill Him.

Nevertheless even among the rulers many believed into Him, but because of the Pharisees they did not confess Him, that they might not be put out of the synagogue;

But the Pharisees and lawyers rejected the purpose of God for themselves, not having been immersed by him.
