Jesus answered them and said, Truly, truly, I say to you, you seek Me, not because you saw the signs, but because you ate of the loaves and were filled.

Therefore they said to Him, What sign do You show then, that we may see and believe You? What do You work?

And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that everyone who sees the Son and believes into Him may have eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.

But there are some of you who do not believe. For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were who were not believing, and who would betray Him.

But although He had done so many signs before them, they did not believe into Him,

If I had not done among them the works which no one else did, they would have no sin. But now they have seen and also hated both Me and My Father.

But he said to him, If they do not hear Moses and the Prophets, neither will they be persuaded though one should rise from the dead.

whom having not seen you love. Though now you do not see Him yet, believing, you rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory,

receiving the outcome of your faith; the salvation of your souls.
