Then Jesus turned, and seeing them following, said to them, What do you seek? They said to Him, Rabbi (which is to say, when translated, Teacher), where are You staying?

Jesus therefore, knowing all things coming upon Him, went forth and said to them, Whom do you seek?

Then He asked them again, Whom do you seek? And they said, Jesus of Nazareth.

I will rise now, and go about the city; in the streets and in the broad places I will seek him whom my soul loves. I sought him, but I did not find him.

Daughters of Jerusalem: Where has your beloved gone, O most beautiful among women? Where has your beloved turned aside, that we may seek him with you?

And the angel answered and said to the women, Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified.

But he said to them, Do not be afraid. You seek Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He is risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid Him.

And, as they were terrified and bowed their faces to the earth, they said to them, Why do you seek the living among the dead?

Do not consider your handmaid for a daughter of worthlessness, for out of the abundance of my anxiety and vexation I have spoken until now.

Offspring of vipers! How can you, being evil, speak good things? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.
