Then they took away the stone from where the dead man was lying. And Jesus lifted up His eyes and said, Father, I thank You that You have heard Me.

My help comes from Jehovah, who made the heavens and the earth.

i1 [A Song of Ascents.] i0 par Unto You I lift up my eyes, O You who dwell in the heavens.

Like a twittering swallow, so I chatter; I mourn as a dove; my eyes look weakly to the heights. O Jehovah, I am distressed; be surety for me.

And the tax collector, standing afar off, would not so much as raise his eyes to Heaven, but beat his breast, saying, God, be merciful to me a sinner!

Therefore they sought to take Him; but no one laid a hand on Him, because His hour had not yet come.

These words Jesus spoke in the treasury, as He taught in the temple; and no one laid hands on Him, for His hour had not yet come.

But Jesus answered them, saying, The hour has come that the Son of Man should be glorified.

Now My soul is troubled, and what shall I say? Father, save Me out of this hour? But for this purpose I came unto this hour.

Father, glorify Your name. Then a voice came from Heaven, saying, I have both glorified it and will glorify it again.

Now before the Feast of the Passover, when Jesus knew that His hour had come that He should depart from this world to the Father, having loved His own who were in the world, He loved them to the end.

Behold, the hour is coming, yes, has now come, that you are scattered, each to his own, and will leave Me alone. And yet I am not alone, because the Father is with Me.

And He came the third time and said to them, Sleep on now and take your rest. It is enough. The hour has come; behold, the Son of Man is being delivered into the hands of sinners.

When I was with you daily in the temple, you did not stretch forth your hands against Me. But this is your hour, and the authority of darkness.

I have glorified You on the earth. I have finished the work which You gave Me to do.

And now, O Father, glorify Me together with Yourself, with the glory which I had with You before the world existed.

But this He spoke concerning the Spirit, whom those believing into Him were about to receive; for the Holy Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.

When Jesus heard that, He said, This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God may be glorified through it.

So, when he had gone out, Jesus said, Now the Son of Man is glorified, and God is glorified in Him.

If God is glorified in Him, God will also glorify Him in Himself, and glorify Him at once.

The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the God of our fathers, glorified His Son Jesus, whom you delivered up and denied in the presence of Pilate, when he had determined to set Him free.

Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him a name which is above every name,

and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

who through Him believe in God, who raised Him from the dead and gave Him glory, so that your faith and hope might be in God.
