The world cannot hate you; but it hates Me because I bear witness of it that its works are evil.

If the world hates you, you know that it has hated Me before you.

Remember the Word that I said to you, A servant is not greater than his master. If they persecuted Me, they will also persecute you. If they kept My Word, they will keep yours also.

And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her Seed; He shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise His heel.

An unjust man is an abomination to the just; and he who is upright in the way is an abomination to the wicked.

I also cut off three shepherds in one month. And My soul loathed them, and their soul also abhorred Me.

A disciple is not above his teacher, nor a servant above his lord.

It is enough for a disciple that he be like his teacher, and a servant like his lord. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more those of his household!

In this regard, they think it strange that you do not run with them in the same overflow of dissipation, blaspheming.

They will give an account to Him who is ready to judge the living and the dead.

not as Cain who was of the wicked one and murdered his brother. And why did he murder him? Because his works were evil and his brother's righteous.

They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world.

And He said to them, You are from beneath; I am from above. You are from this world; I am not from this world.

They are of the world. Therefore they speak of the world, and the world hears them.

We are of God. He who knows God hears us; he who is not of God does not hear us. By this we know the Spirit of Truth and the spirit of error.

We know that we are of God, and the whole world lies in wickedness.

And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us an understanding, that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life.
