concerning righteousness, because I go to My Father and you no longer see Me;

A little while, and you do not see Me; and again a little while, and you will see Me, because I go away to the Father.

I came forth from the Father and have come into the world. Again, I leave the world and go to the Father.

What then if you should see the Son of Man ascend where He was before?

Then Jesus said to them, I shall be with you a little while longer, and then I go to Him who sent Me.

Jesus, knowing that the Father had given all things into His hands, and that He was come from God and was going to God,

You have heard Me say to you, I am going away and coming back to you. If you loved Me, you would rejoice because I said, I am going to the Father, for My Father is greater than I.

I have glorified You on the earth. I have finished the work which You gave Me to do.

But now I am coming to You, and these things I speak in the world, that they may have My joy fulfilled in themselves.

But to each one of us grace was given according to the measure of Christ's gift.

(Now this, He ascended; what does it mean but that He also first descended into the lower parts of the earth?

And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers,

Who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His essence, and upholding all things by the Word of His power, when He had by Himself made purification for our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high,

looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Simon Peter said to Him, Lord, where are You going? Jesus answered him, Where I am going you are not able to follow Me now, but you shall follow Me afterward.

And where I go you know, and the way you know.

Jesus said to him, I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.
