Jesus answered and said to them, Even if I bear witness of Myself, My testimony is true, for I know where I came from and where I am going; but you do not know where I come from and where I am going.

Now before the Feast of the Passover, when Jesus knew that His hour had come that He should depart from this world to the Father, having loved His own who were in the world, He loved them to the end.

Jesus, knowing that the Father had given all things into His hands, and that He was come from God and was going to God,

But now I am going away to Him who sent Me, and none of you asks Me, Where are You going?

A little while, and you do not see Me; and again a little while, and you will see Me, because I go away to the Father.

You have heard Me say to you, I am going away and coming back to you. If you loved Me, you would rejoice because I said, I am going to the Father, for My Father is greater than I.

And now, O Father, glorify Me together with Yourself, with the glory which I had with You before the world existed.

And now I am no longer in the world, but these are in the world, and I am coming to You. Holy Father, keep through Your name those whom You have given Me, that they may be one as We are.

But now I am coming to You, and these things I speak in the world, that they may have My joy fulfilled in themselves.

And it came to pass, when the time had come for Him to be lifted up, that He steadfastly set His face to go to Jerusalem,

And it came to pass, while He blessed them, that He was parted from them and carried up into Heaven.

Now when He had spoken these things, while they watched, He was taken up, and a cloud received Him out of their sight.

who also said, Men of Galilee, why do you stand gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus, who was taken up from you into Heaven, will so come in like manner as you have seen Him go into Heaven.
