Shulamite: Awake, O north wind, and come, O south! Blow upon my garden, that its spices may flow out. Let my beloved come to his garden and eat its excellent fruits.

The Beloved: I have come to my garden, my sister, my spouse; I have gathered my myrrh with my spice; I have eaten my honeycomb with my honey; I have drunk my wine with my milk. To His Friends: Eat, O friends! Drink, yes, get drunk, O beloved ones!

Then Levi made Him a great feast in his own house. And there were a great number of tax collectors and others who sat down with them.

Then He also said to him who invited Him, When you give a dinner or a supper, do not invite your friends, your brothers, your relatives, nor rich neighbors, lest they also invite you back, and you be repaid.

And when Jesus was in Bethany at the house of Simon the leper,

And being in Bethany at the house of Simon the leper, as He sat at the table, a woman came having an alabaster flask of very costly ointment of spikenard. And she broke the flask and poured it on His head.

Now it happened as they went that He entered a certain village; and a certain woman named Martha received Him into her house.

But Martha was distracted with much serving, and she came to Him and said, Lord, do You not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Therefore tell her to help me.

But one thing is needed, and Mary has chosen that good part, which will not be taken away from her.

Blessed are those servants whom the master, when he comes, will find watching. Truly, I say to you that he will gird himself and have them sit down to eat, and will come and serve them.

For who is greater, he who sits at the table, or he who serves? Is it not he who sits at the table? Yet I am among you as the One who serves.

Now a great many of the Jews knew that He was there; and they came, not because of Jesus only, but that they might also see Lazarus, whom He had raised from the dead.

But the chief priests took counsel to put Lazarus to death also,

And when He had said these things, He cried with a loud voice, Lazarus! Out here! Now!

And he who had died came out bound hand and foot with graveclothes, and his face was wrapped with a cloth. Jesus said to them, Loose him, and let him go.
