Then He called His twelve disciples together and gave them power and authority over all demons, and to cure diseases.

Then the seventy returned with joy, saying, Lord, even the demons are subject to us in Your name.

Behold, I give you authority to tread over serpents and scorpions, and upon all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

And Gehazi went on before them, and laid the staff on the face of the boy; but there was neither voice nor hearing. Therefore he went back to meet him, and reported to him, saying, The boy has not awakened.

And Jesus said to them, Because of your unbelief; for truly I say to you, if you have faith as a grain of mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, Move from here to there, and it will move; and nothing will be impossible unto you.

However, this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting.

Then some of the itinerant Jewish exorcists took it upon themselves to call the name of the Lord Jesus over those who had evil spirits, saying, We command you by Jesus whom Paul preaches.

And the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I am acquainted with; but who are you?
