Then we shall know, we who follow on to know Jehovah. His going forth is established as the dawn. And He shall come to us as the rain, as the latter and former rain to the earth.

And the disciples came and said to Him, Why do You speak to them in parables?

Therefore hear the parable of the sower:

Then Jesus sent the multitude away and went into the house. And His disciples came to Him, saying, Explain to us the parable of the tares of the field.

Then Peter answered and said to Him, Explain this parable to us.

And when He was alone, those around Him with the twelve asked Him about the parable.

But He did not speak to them without a parable. And when they were alone, He explained all things to His disciples.

And when He had entered a house away from the crowd, His disciples asked Him concerning the parable.

So He said to them, Are you thus without understanding also? Do you not perceive that whatever enters a man from outside cannot defile him,

No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not know what his master does; but I have called you friends, for all things that I hear from My Father I make known to you.
