Then those who kept them fled; and they went away into the city and told everything, including what had happened to the demon-possessed men.

Now while they were going, behold, some of the guard came into the city and reported to the chief priests all the things that had happened.

And those who fed the swine fled, and they told it in the city and in the country. And they went out to see what it was that had happened.

Then the man in whom the evil spirit was leaped on them, overpowered them and subdued them, so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded.

This became known to all, both Jews and Greeks dwelling in Ephesus; and fear fell on them all, and the name of the Lord Jesus was magnified.
