As for you, my son Solomon, know the God of your father, and serve Him with a perfect heart and with a willing mind; for Jehovah searches all hearts and understands all the intent of the thoughts. If you seek Him, He will be found by you; but if you forsake Him, He will cast you off forever.

You know my sitting down and my rising up; You understand my thoughts afar off.

The thoughts of the wicked are an abomination to Jehovah, but the words of the pure are pleasant.

For I know their works and their thoughts. It shall come to pass that I will gather all the nations and tongues; and they shall come and see My glory.

And I will kill her children with death, and all the churches shall know that I am He who searches the inner thoughts and hearts. And I will give to each one of you according to your works.

And He said to them, Why are you troubled? And why do reasonings arise in your hearts?

But Jesus, knowing, said to them, Why do you reason because you have no bread? Do you not yet perceive nor understand? Is your heart still hardened?

But Peter said, Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and keep back part of the proceeds of the land for yourself?
