And Jehovah said to Satan, Behold, he is in your hand, but keep his soul alive.

Then the devil takes Him up into the holy city, and sets Him on the wing of the temple,

And the porch that was in front of the sanctuary was twenty cubits long across the width of the house, and the height was one hundred and twenty. He overlaid the inside with pure gold.

And the devil said to Him, If You are the Son of God, command this stone to become bread.

and says to Him, If You are the Son of God, throw Yourself down. For it is written: He shall give His angels charge concerning you, and, in their hands they shall bear you up, that you may not dash your foot against a stone.

And, behold, they cried out, saying, What have we to do with You, Jesus, Son of God? Have You come here to torment us before the time?

and defined as the Son of God in power according to the Spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead.
