I know that you are Abraham's seed, but you seek to kill Me, because My Word has no place in you.

But now you seek to kill Me, a Man who has told you the truth which I heard from God. Abraham did not do this.

Then they took up stones to throw at Him; but Jesus was hidden and went forth out of the temple, going through the midst of them, and so passed by.

If I had not done among them the works which no one else did, they would have no sin. But now they have seen and also hated both Me and My Father.

Moreover, that the Word might be fulfilled which is written in their law, They hated Me without a cause.

Then they cried out with a loud voice, stopped their ears, and ran at him with one accord;

and they cast him out of the city and stoned him. And the witnesses laid aside their clothes at the feet of a young man named Saul.

And when they had laid many stripes on them, they threw them into prison, commanding the jailer to keep them securely.

Having received such a charge, he put them into the inner prison and fastened their feet in the stocks.

crying out, Men of Israel, help! This is the man who teaches all men everywhere against the people, the Law, and this place; and furthermore he also brought Greeks into the temple and has defiled this holy place.

And all the city was in a commotion; and the people ran together, seized Paul, and dragged him out of the temple; and immediately the doors were shut.

He immediately took soldiers and centurions, and ran down to them. And when they saw the commander and the soldiers, they stopped beating Paul.

And the sons of Judah took captive ten thousand alive, brought them to the top of the rock, and cast them down from the top of the rock, so that they all were ripped to pieces.

The wicked have drawn out the sword and have bent their bow, to cast down the poor and needy, to slaughter those who walk uprightly.

The wicked watches the righteous, and seeks to kill him.

Jehovah will not abandon him in his hand, nor allow him to be found guilty when he is judged.
