And those who had laid hold of Jesus led Him away to Caiaphas the high priest, where the scribes and the elders were assembled.

But Peter followed Him at a distance to the high priest's courtyard. And he went in and sat with the servants to see the end.

Then the company of troops and the commander and the officers of the Jews arrested Jesus and bound Him.

But he said to Him, Lord, I am ready to go with You, both to prison and to death.

Then He said, I tell you, Peter, the rooster shall not crow this day before you will deny three times that you know Me.

However, regarding the ambassadors of the rulers of Babylon, who were sent to him to inquire about the wonder that had happened in the land, God left him alone, to test him, to know all his heart.
