And when He had called the multitude to Himself, He said to them, Hear and understand:

And when He had called the people to Himself, with His disciples also, He said to them, Whoever desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me.

And He said to them in His teaching, Beware of the scribes, who desire to go around in long robes, love greetings in the marketplaces,

Those who are sinning rebuke in the presence of all, that the rest also may fear.
