And he blessed him and said: Blessed is Abram of the Most High God, Possessor of Heaven and earth;

And Joseph brought in his father Jacob and presented him before Pharaoh; and Jacob blessed Pharaoh.

And Moses inspected all the work, and indeed they had done it; as Jehovah had commanded, thus they had done it. And Moses blessed them.

And Aaron lifted his hand toward the people, blessed them, and came down from offering the sin offering, the burnt offering, and peace offerings.

And Moses and Aaron went into the tent of meeting, and came out and blessed the people. And the glory of Jehovah appeared to all the people,

For this Melchizedek, king of Salem, priest of the Most High God, who met Abraham returning from the slaughter of the kings and blessed him,

And without any contradiction the inferior is blessed by the better.

And He shall be a sanctuary for you; but a stone of stumbling, and a rock of falling to both the houses of Israel; and a trap and a snare to the inhabitants of Jerusalem.

And many among them shall stumble and fall and be broken, and be snared, and be taken.

Who is wise and discerns these things? Who is discerning and knows them? For the ways of Jehovah are right, and the righteous shall walk in them; but transgressors shall stumble in them.

And whoever falls on this stone will be broken; but on whomever it falls, it will crush him to pieces.

For everyone practicing evil hates the Light and does not come to the Light, lest his deeds should be reproved.

We know that God spoke to Moses; as for this fellow, we do not know where He is from.

Why? Because it was not by faith, but as out of works of the Law. For they stumbled at the stumbling stone.

but we preach Christ crucified, truly to the Jews a stumbling block and to the Greeks foolishness,

For we are to God the fragrance of Christ among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing.

Therefore, to you who believe, He is precious; but to those who are disobedient, The stone which the builders rejected has become the Head of the corner,

Therefore let all the house of Israel understand with certainty that God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Christ.

Then Peter said to them, Repent, and let every one of you be immersed in the name of Jesus Christ to the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

And with many other words he testified and exhorted them, saying, Be saved from this perverse generation.

and killed the Prince of Life, whom God raised up from the dead, of which we are witnesses.

Yet now, brethren, I know that you did it in ignorance, as did also your rulers.

Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord,

And the Word of God grew, and the number of the disciples multiplied greatly in Jerusalem, and a great many of the priests were obedient to the faith.

Then Saul, still breathing threats and murder toward the disciples of the Lord, went to the high priest

But as he journeyed he came near Damascus, and suddenly a light shone around him from Heaven.

And he said, Who are You, Sir? And the Lord said, I am Jesus, whom you persecute. It is hard for you to kick against the goads.

And the men who journeyed with him stood speechless, hearing a sound but seeing no one.

And he was three days without sight, and neither ate nor drank.

So the Lord said to him, Arise and go to the street called Straight, and inquire at the house of Judas for one called Saul of Tarsus, for behold, he prays.

Then Ananias answered, Lord, I have heard from many about this man, how much evil he has done to Your saints in Jerusalem.

But the Lord said to him, Go, for he is a chosen vessel unto Me to bear My name before Gentiles, kings, and the children of Israel.

And Ananias went his way and entered the house; and laying his hands on him he said, Brother Saul, the Lord Jesus, who appeared to you on the road as you came, has sent me that you may receive your sight and be filled with the Holy Spirit.

So when he had received food, he was strengthened. Then Saul spent some days with the disciples at Damascus.

But I am a worm, and no man; a reproach of men, and despised by the people.

He trusted on Jehovah; let Him deliver Him; let Him rescue Him, since He delights in Him!

For the zeal of Your house has eaten Me up; and the reproaches of those who reproached You have fallen upon Me.

I also made sackcloth my clothing, and I became a byword to them.

Behold, I and the children whom Jehovah has given me, are for signs and for wonders in Israel, from Jehovah of Hosts who dwells in Mount Zion.

The Son of Man comes eating and drinking, and they say, Behold, a glutton and a wino, a friend of tax collectors and sinners! But wisdom is justified by her children.

Then the high priest tore his clothes, saying, He has spoken blasphemy! What further need do we have of witnesses? Behold, now you have heard His blasphemy!

Then they spat in His face and beat Him with the fist; and others slapped Him,

and saying, You who destroys the temple and builds it in three days, save Yourself! If You are the Son of God, come down from the cross.

He saved others; He has no power to save Himself. If He is the King of Israel, let Him now come down from the cross, and we will believe Him.

Even the robbers who were crucified with Him reviled Him with the same thing.

Therefore the Jews sought all the more to kill Him, because He not only broke the Sabbath, but also said that God was His Father, making Himself equal with God.

Then the Jews answered and said to Him, Do we not say rightly that You are a Samaritan and have a demon?

And I do not seek My own glory; there is One who seeks and judges.

Then the Jews said to Him, Now we know that You have a demon. Abraham died, and the prophets; and You say, If anyone keeps My Word he shall never ever taste death.

So they again called the man who was blind, and said to him, Give God the glory. We know that this Man is a sinner.

Then they said to him again, What did He do to you? How did He open your eyes?

Then they reviled him and said, You are His disciple, but we are Moses' disciples.

The kings of the earth took their stand, and the rulers themselves were gathered against the Lord and against His Christ.

But when the Jews saw the multitudes, they were filled with envy; and contradicting and blaspheming, they opposed the things spoken by Paul.

But when they did not find them, they dragged Jason and some brethren to the rulers of the city, crying out, These who have turned the world upside down have come here, too;

For we have found this man pestilent, a mover of insurrection among all the Jews throughout the world, and a ringleader of the sect of the Nazarenes.

But we desire to hear from you what you think; for concerning this sect, we know that it is spoken against everywhere.

but we preach Christ crucified, truly to the Jews a stumbling block and to the Greeks foolishness,

Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so persistently harasses us, and let us run with perseverance the race that is set before us,

For consider Him who endured such opposition from sinners against Himself, that you not become weary and faint in your souls.

If you are reproached for the name of Christ, you are blessed, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon you. According to them He is blasphemed, but according to you He is glorified.
