And He took a little child and set him in the midst of them. And when He had taken him in His arms, He said to them,

And He took them up in His arms, put His hands on them, and blessed them.

And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying:

Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, goodwill among men!

And the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things that they had heard and seen, as it was told them.

And Mary said: My soul magnifies the Lord,

And immediately his mouth was opened and his tongue loosed, and he spoke, praising God.

Blessed is the Lord God of Israel, for He has visited and redeemed His people,

Be glad in Jehovah and rejoice, you righteous; and shout for joy, all you upright in heart.

Rejoice in Jehovah, O you righteous ones! Praise is becoming to the upright.

Oh, give thanks unto Jehovah! Call upon His name; make known His deeds among the people!

Glory in His holy name; let the hearts of those rejoice who seek Jehovah!

Bless Jehovah, O house of Israel! Bless Jehovah, O house of Aaron!

Bless Jehovah, O house of Levi! You who fear Jehovah, bless Jehovah!
