And the apostles, when they had returned, told Him all that they had done. Then He took them and went aside privately into a deserted place belonging to the city called Bethsaida.

So David's young men turned around on their way, returned and came and reported to him all these words.

Then His disciples came and said to Him, Do You know that the Pharisees were offended when they heard this saying?

So when his fellow servants saw what had been done, they were very grieved, and came and told their master all that had been done.

Obey those in authority over you, and be submissive, for they watch out for your souls, as those who must give account. Let them do so with joy and not with grief, for that would be unprofitable for you.

For I say to you that none of those men who had been invited shall taste of my supper.

Kiss the Son, lest He be angry, and you perish from the way, when His wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all those who put their trust in Him.

But when the king heard about it, he was angry. And he sent out his armies, destroyed those murderers, and burned up their city.

Then he said to his servants, The wedding feast is ready, but those who were invited were not worthy.

how shall we escape if we neglect so great a salvation, which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed to us by those who heard Him,

See to it that you do not refuse Him who speaks. For if they did not escape who refused Him who spoke on earth, much more shall we not escape if we turn away from the One speaking from Heaven,

whose voice then shook the earth; but now He has promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not only the earth, but also the heavens.

And I saw another sign in Heaven, great and marvelous: seven angels having the seven last plagues, for in them the wrath of God is finished.

And they sing the song of Moses, the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying: Great and marvelous are Your works, Lord God Almighty. Just and true are Your ways, O King of the saints.

After these things I looked, and behold, the temple of the tabernacle of the testimony in Heaven was opened.

And one of the four living creatures gave to the seven angels seven golden bowls full of the wrath of God who lives forever and ever.

And out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He might strike the nations. And He Himself will rule them with a rod of iron. He Himself treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.

and that repentance and remission of sins be preached in His name to all nations, beginning out of Jerusalem.

Wisdom cries aloud outside; she utters her voice in the square;

How long, you simple ones, will you love simplicity; and those who scorn desire their scorning; and fools hate knowledge?

Because I have called, and you refused; I have stretched out my hand, and no one pays attention,

She stands at the top of high places, by the wayside, where the paths meet,

I call out to you, O men, and my voice is to the sons of men.

She has sent out her maidens; she calls out from the highest places of the city:

Run to and fro through the streets of Jerusalem, and see now, and know, and seek in her open places, if you can find a man, if there is one who does justice, who seeks the truth; and I will pardon her.

And I fed the flock of slaughter, the truly poor of the flock. And I took two staffs for Myself: the one I called Beauty, and the other I called Bonds. And I fed the flock.

And it was broken in that day, and so the poor of the flock who were watching Me knew that it was the Word of Jehovah.

But what do you think? A man had two sons, and he came to the first and said, Son, go, work today in my vineyard.

And he came to the second and said likewise. And he answered and said, I go, sir, but he did not go.

And many of the Samaritans of that city believed into Him because of the word of the woman who testified, He told me everything that I ever did.

And many more believed through His Word.

Then the Pharisees answered them, Have you not also been led astray?

But this crowd that does not know the Law is accursed.

And Jesus said, For judgment I have come into this world, that those who do not see may see, and that those who see may become blind.

Therefore those who were scattered went everywhere preaching the Word.

And the multitudes with one accord heeded the things spoken by Philip, hearing and seeing the many signs which he did.

Listen, my beloved brethren: Has God not chosen the poor of this world to be rich in faith and heirs of the kingdom which He promised to those who love Him?

And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him who hears say, Come. And let him who thirsts come. Whoever desires, let him take of the Water of Life freely.

But when you give a feast, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind.

Jesus answered and said to them, Go and tell John the things you have seen and heard: that the blind see, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, the poor have the gospel preached to them.

And blessed is he who is not made to stumble because of Me.

He raises the poor from the dust and lifts the needy from the ash heap, to set them among princes and make them inherit the throne of glory. For the pillars of the earth are Jehovah's, and He set the world upon them.

He raises the poor out of the dust, and lifts the needy out of the ash heap,

that He may seat him with nobles; with the nobles of His people.

The blind see and the lame walk; the lepers are cleansed and the deaf hear; the dead are raised up and the poor have the gospel preached to them.

Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

For my loins are filled with inflammation, and there is no soundness in my flesh.

Your ropes are loosened, they could not hold the base of the mast, they could not spread the sail. Then the prey of a great plunder is divided; the lame take the spoils.

Then the lame shall leap like a deer, and the tongue of the dumb shall sing. For in the wilderness waters shall break out, and streams in the desert.
