and while I was speaking in prayer, then the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning, reached me as I was weary and faint, about the time of the evening sacrifice.

At the beginning of your prayers the word came forth, and I have come to explain it. For you are greatly beloved. Therefore consider the matter and understand the vision:

And he said, O man greatly beloved, do not fear. Peace to you. Be strong. Yea, be strong! And when he had spoken to me I was strengthened. And I said, Speak, my lord, for you have strengthened me.

And the angel said to her, Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor from God.

Take words with you and return to Jehovah. Say to Him, Take away all iniquity and receive us with grace, that we may repay with the calves of our lips.

to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He has made us accepted in the Beloved.

And the Angel of Jehovah appeared to him, and said to him, Jehovah is with you, you mighty man of valor!

Fear not, for I am with you. I will bring your seed from the east, and gather you from the west.

For behold, I have made you a fortified city this day, and an iron pillar, and bronze walls against the whole land, against the kings of Judah, against its rulers, against its priests, and against the people of the land.

And they shall fight against you; but they shall not prevail against you. For I am with you, says Jehovah, to deliver you.

for I am with you, and no one will attack you to harm you; for I have many people in this city.

And she spoke out with a loud voice and said, Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb!

And it happened, as He spoke these things, that a certain woman from the crowd raised her voice and said to Him, Blessed is the womb that bore You, and the breasts which You sucked!

But He said, No; rather, blessed are those who hear the Word of God and keep it.

Most blessed among women is Jael, the wife of Heber the Kenite; blessed is she among women in the tent.

Many daughters have dealt with strength, but you have excelled them all.

Give her of the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates.

But He answered and said to the one who told Him, Who is My mother and who are My brothers?
