And when He was alone, those around Him with the twelve asked Him about the parable.

But He did not speak to them without a parable. And when they were alone, He explained all things to His disciples.

And the disciples came and said to Him, Why do You speak to them in parables?

Then Jesus sent the multitude away and went into the house. And His disciples came to Him, saying, Explain to us the parable of the tares of the field.

Then Peter answered and said to Him, Explain this parable to us.

Then the disciples came to Jesus privately and said, Why could we not cast it out?

And Jesus said to them, Because of your unbelief; for truly I say to you, if you have faith as a grain of mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, Move from here to there, and it will move; and nothing will be impossible unto you.
