These things I have spoken to you in figurative language; but the time is coming when I will no longer speak to you in figurative language, but I will clearly make known to you concerning the Father.

His disciples said to Him, Behold, now You are speaking plainly, and using no figure of speech.

But He was in the stern, asleep on a pillow. And they awoke Him and said to Him, Teacher, do You not care that we are perishing?

Then Peter took Him aside and began to rebuke Him, saying, Far be it from You, Lord; this shall never be to You!

But Martha was distracted with much serving, and she came to Him and said, Lord, do You not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Therefore tell her to help me.

Then He comes to Simon Peter. And Peter says to Him, Lord, do You wash my feet?

Peter said to Him, You shall certainly not ever wash my feet! Jesus answered him, If I do not wash you, you have no part with Me.
