But when they persecute you in this city, flee to another. For truly I say to you, you will not have finished going through the cities of Israel before the Son of Man comes.

But when Jesus knew it, He withdrew from there. And great multitudes followed Him, and He healed everyone of them.

Now it came to pass in those days that He went out into the mountain to pray, and continued all night in prayer to God.

Therefore they sought again to seize Him, but He escaped out of their hand.

Then many came to Him and said, John performed no sign, but all the things that John spoke about this Man were true.

Then, from that day on, they took counsel to kill Him.

Therefore Jesus no longer walked openly among the Jews, but went from there into the country near the wilderness, to a city called Ephraim, and stayed there with His disciples.

And when a violent attempt was made by both the Gentiles and Jews, with their rulers, to inflict injury and stone them,

they became aware of it and fled to Lystra and Derbe, cities of Lycaonia, and to the surrounding region.

Then the brethren immediately sent Paul and Silas away by night to Berea. When they arrived, they went into the synagogue of the Jews.

Then immediately the brethren sent Paul away, to go as though toward the sea; but both Silas and Timothy remained there.

And great multitudes followed Him; from Galilee, and Decapolis, and Jerusalem, and Judea, and beyond the Jordan.

And He came down with them and stood on a level place with a crowd of His disciples and a great multitude of people from all Judea and Jerusalem, and from the seacoast of Tyre and Sidon, who came to hear Him and be healed from their diseases,

And He was preaching in their synagogues throughout all Galilee, and casting out demons.

So they appointed Kedesh in Galilee, in the mountains of Naphtali, Shechem in the mountains of Ephraim, and Kirjath Arba (which is Hebron) in the mountains of Judah.

and from the tribe of Naphtali, Kedesh in Galilee with its common land (a city of refuge for the slayer), Hammoth Dor with its common land, and Kartan with its common land: three cities.

But they were the more insistant, saying, He stirs up the people, teaching throughout all Judea, beginning from Galilee to this place.

Others said, This is the Christ. But some said, Christ does not come out of Galilee.

They answered and said to him, Are you also from Galilee? Search and look, for no prophet has arisen out of Galilee.
