And they went in and did not find the body of the Lord Jesus.

Then the other disciple, who came to the tomb first, went in also; and he saw and believed.

then I lifted up my eyes and looked: And behold, a certain man clothed in linen, whose loins were girded with fine gold from Uphaz.

His body was also like the beryl, and his face looked like lightning. And his eyes were like torches of fire; and his arms and his feet in color like polished bronze; and the sound of his words was like the sound of a multitude.

His countenance was like lightning, and his clothing as white as snow.

And it happened, as they were greatly perplexed about this, that behold, two men stood by them in shining garments.

And, as they were terrified and bowed their faces to the earth, they said to them, Why do you seek the living among the dead?

But Mary stood outside near the tomb weeping, and as she wept she stooped down into the tomb.

And she saw two angels in white sitting, one at the head and the other at the feet, where the body of Jesus had lain.

And when they saw Him walking on the sea, they supposed it was a ghost, and cried out;

for they all saw Him and were troubled. But immediately He talked with them and said to them, Be of good courage. It is I; do not be afraid.

And he came near where I stood. And when he came, I was afraid and fell on my face. But he said to me, O son of man, understand that the vision is about the time of the end.

And I, Daniel, alone saw the vision. For the men who were with me did not see the vision. But a great trembling fell on them so that they fled to hide themselves.

Yet I heard the sound of his words. And when I heard the sound of his words, then I was on my face, in a deep sleep, and my face was toward the ground.

And when Zacharias saw him, he was troubled, and fear fell upon him.

But when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying, and contemplated what kind of greeting this might be.

And the angel said to her, Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor from God.
