My lovers and my friends stand at a distance from my plague; and my relatives stand afar off.

And many women who followed Jesus from Galilee, ministering to Him, were there looking on from afar,

among whom were Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of Jacob and Joses, and the mother of Zebedee's sons.

But all His acquaintances, and the women who accompanied Him from Galilee, stood at a distance, watching these things.

Now there stood by the cross of Jesus His mother, and His mother's sister, Mary the wife of Clopas, and Mary Magdalene.

Then He said to the disciple, Behold your mother. And from that hour that disciple took her into his own home.

Now when He arose early on the first day of the week, He appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom He had cast seven demons.

Now after the Sabbath, as the first day of the week began to dawn, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary came to see the tomb.

and certain women who had been healed of evil spirits and infirmities; Mary called Magdalene, out of whom had come seven demons,

and Joanna the wife of Chuza, Herod's steward, and Susanna, and many others who ministered to Him out of their possessions.

But Mary stood outside near the tomb weeping, and as she wept she stooped down into the tomb.

And they said to her, Woman, why are you weeping? She said to them, Because they have taken away my Lord, and I do not know where they have laid Him.

Jesus said to her, Woman, why are you weeping? Whom are you seeking? She, supposing Him to be the gardener, said to Him, Sir, if You have carried Him away, tell me where You have laid Him, and I will take Him away.

Jesus said to her, Do not cling to Me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father; but go to My brethren and say to them, I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.

And Mary Magdalene and Mary the mother of Joses observed where He was laid.

Now when the Sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of Jacob, and Salome bought spices, that they might come and anoint Him.

Is this not the carpenter's son? Is not His mother called Mary? And His brothers Jacob, Joses, Simon, and Judas?

And many women who followed Jesus from Galilee, ministering to Him, were there looking on from afar,

And Mary Magdalene was there, and the other Mary, sitting opposite the tomb.

Now there stood by the cross of Jesus His mother, and His mother's sister, Mary the wife of Clopas, and Mary Magdalene.

Do we not have the right to take along a believing wife, as do also the other apostles, the brothers of the Lord, and Cephas?

But I saw none of the other apostles except Jacob, the Lord's brother.
