Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bring forth a Son, and they shall call His name Emmanuel, which is translated, God with us.

concerning His Son Jesus Christ our Lord, who was made of the seed of David according to the flesh,

and defined as the Son of God in power according to the Spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead.

of whom are the fathers and from whom, according to the flesh, is Christ, being God over all, blessed forever. Amen.

And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifested in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen by angels, preached among the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up in glory.

I, Jesus, have sent My angel to testify these things to you, to the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, the Bright and Morning Star.

The blind see and the lame walk; the lepers are cleansed and the deaf hear; the dead are raised up and the poor have the gospel preached to them.

At that time Jesus answered and said, I thank You, Father, Lord of Heaven and earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise and intelligent, and have revealed them to babes.

But when they sought to lay hands on Him, they feared the multitudes, because they held Him as a prophet.

and were unable to figure out anything to do; for all the people hung on to hear Him.

And early in the morning all the people came to Him in the temple to hear Him.

The officers answered, No man ever spoke like this Man.

Have any of the rulers or the Pharisees believed into Him?

Listen, my beloved brethren: Has God not chosen the poor of this world to be rich in faith and heirs of the kingdom which He promised to those who love Him?
