And behold, one came and said to Him, Good Teacher, what good thing shall I do that I may have eternal life?

He said to Him, Which? Jesus said, You shall not murder, You shall not commit adultery, You shall not steal, You shall not bear false witness,

The young man said to Him, All these things I have kept from my youth. What do I still lack?

But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful, for he had many possessions.

And again I say to you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.

But Jesus looked at them and said to them, With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.

And Jesus said to them, Truly I say to you, that in the regeneration, when the Son of Man sits on the throne of His glory, you who have followed Me will also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

But many who are first will be last, and the last first.

Now a certain ruler asked Him, saying, Good Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?

You know the commandments: Do not commit adultery, Do not murder, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Honor your father and your mother.

So when Jesus heard these things, He said to him, You still lack one thing. Sell everything that you have and distribute to the poor, and you will have treasure in Heaven; and come, follow Me.

And when Jesus saw that he became very sorrowful, He said, How hard it is for those who have riches to enter into the kingdom of God.

And those who heard it said, Who then is able to be saved?

Then Peter said, See, we have left all and followed You.

who shall not receive many times more in this present time, and in the age to come eternal life.

When Jesus saw that the people came running together, He rebuked the unclean spirit, saying to it, Deaf and mute spirit, I command you, Come out of him and enter him no more.

And they went out quickly from the tomb with fear and great joy, and ran to report this to His disciples.

Then she ran and came to Simon Peter, and to the other disciple, whom Jesus loved, and said to them, They have taken away the Lord out of the tomb, and we do not know where they have laid Him.

So they both ran together, and the other disciple outran Peter and came to the tomb first.

Now a leper came to Him, begging Him, kneeling down to Him and saying to Him, If You are willing, You can make me clean.

And when he had learned that the document was signed, Daniel went to his house. And in his roof room, with his windows open toward Jerusalem, he knelt on his knees three times a day, and prayed and praised before his God, as he did before.

And when they had come to the multitude, a man came to Him, kneeling down to Him and saying,

And when they had come, they said to Him, Teacher, we know that You are true, and care about no one; for You do not regard the person of men, but teach the way of God in truth. Is it lawful to give tribute to Caesar, or not?

This man came to Jesus by night and said to Him, Rabbi, we know that You are a teacher come from God; for no one can do these signs that You do unless God is with him.

Then they said to Him, What shall we do, that we may work the works of God?

Now when they heard this, they were pierced to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?

So he, trembling and astonished, said, Lord, what do You have in mind for me to do? Then the Lord said to him, Arise and go into the city, and you will be told what you must do.

And he brought them out and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved?

For I bear witness of them that they have a zeal for God, but not according to full true knowledge.

For Christ is the end of the Law for righteousness to everyone who believes.

You search the Scriptures, for in them you think you have eternal life; and these are they which bear witness of Me.

Do not labor for the food which perishes, but for the food which endures to everlasting life, which the Son of Man will give you, because God the Father has set His seal on Him.

And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that everyone who sees the Son and believes into Him may have eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.

eternal life to those who steadfastly doing good, seek for glory, honor, and incorruptibility;

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

And this is the promise that He has promised us: Eternal Life.
