And when He had come to His own country, He taught them in their synagogue, so that they were astonished and said, Where did this Man get this wisdom and these mighty works?

You are the fairest of the sons of men; grace is poured into Your lips; therefore God has blessed You forever.

And they were astonished at His doctrine, for He taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes.

And the Jews marveled, saying, How does this Man know letters, having never studied?

The officers answered, No man ever spoke like this Man.
