Now after John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God,

For Herod himself had sent and laid hold of John, and bound him in prison because of Herodias, his brother Philip's wife; for he had married her.

also added this, above all, that he shut John up in prison.

And Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit to Galilee, and news of Him went out through all the surrounding region.

And He went down to Capernaum, a city of Galilee, and was teaching them on the Sabbaths.

Now after two days He departed from there and went into Galilee.

This again is the second sign Jesus did when He had come out of Judea into Galilee.
