Jesus said to him, Truly, I say to you that this night, before the rooster crows, you will deny Me three times.

And the Lord turned and looked at Peter. And Peter remembered the word of the Lord, how He had said to him, Before the rooster crows, you will deny Me three times.

And Peter went out and wept bitterly.

Jesus answered him, Will you lay down your life for Me? Truly, truly, I say to you, the rooster shall not crow till you will deny Me three times.

Then Judas, His betrayer, seeing that He was condemned, repented and brought back the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and elders,

And he threw down the pieces of silver in the temple and departed, and went and hanged himself.

And the Lord said, Simon, Simon. Behold, Satan has asked for you, that he may sift you as wheat.

But he said to Him, Lord, I am ready to go with You, both to prison and to death.

For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh) nothing good dwells; for to desire is present with me, but how to perform what is good I do not find.

Now if I do what I do not wish to do, it is no longer I doing it, but sin that dwells in me.

For who makes you differ from another? And what do you have that you did not receive? Now if you did indeed receive it, why do you boast as if you had not received it?

Brethren, if a man is overtaken in any trespass, you who are spiritual restore such a one in a spirit of meekness, considering yourself that you not also be tempted.

who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.
