Jesus said to him, Truly, I say to you that this night, before the rooster crows, you will deny Me three times.

Peter said to Him, Even if I have to die with You, I will not at all deny You! And so said all the disciples.

And He came to the disciples and found them asleep, and said to Peter, What? Were you not able to watch with Me one hour?

Again, a second time, He went away and prayed, saying, O My Father, if this cup cannot pass away from Me unless I drink it, Your will be done.

Depart from me, you evildoers, for I will keep the Commandments of my God.

Sustain me, and I shall be safe, and I will gaze upon Your Statutes continually.

He who trusts in his own heart is a fool, but whoever walks wisely shall be delivered.

A man's pride shall bring him low; but honor shall uphold the humble in spirit.

The fear of man brings a snare, but whoever puts his trust in Jehovah shall be exalted.

And of whom have you been afraid or feared, that you have lied and have not remembered Me, nor laid it to your heart? Have I not been silent, even for a long time, and you did not fear Me?

The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked; who can know it?

Well, because of unbelief they were broken off, and you stand by faith. Do not be highminded, but fear.

Therefore let him who thinks he is firmly established take heed that he not fall.

But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, prostitutes, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.
