Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord comes.

Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour in which the Son of Man comes.

Take heed, watch and pray; for you do not know when the time is.

Watch therefore, for you do not know when the master of the house is coming; in the evening, at midnight, at the crowing of the rooster, or in the morning;

And what I say to you, I say to all: Watch.

Watch and pray, that you not enter into temptation. The spirit truly is willing, but the flesh is weak.

Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man.

And when He came to the place, He said to them, Pray that you do not enter into temptation.

And He said to them, Why do you sleep? Rise and pray, that you do not enter into temptation.

Watch, stand fast in the faith, be like men, be strong.

praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints;

But the end of all things is at hand; therefore be of sound mind and calm in your prayers.

Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.

Behold, I am coming as a thief. Blessed is he who watches, and keeps his garments, that he not walk naked and they see his shame.

And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from the evil. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.

Do not enter the path of the wicked, and do not go in the way of evil.

Avoid it, do not pass by it; turn from it and pass on.

And the ones on the rock are those who, when they hear, receive the Word with joy; and these have no root, who believe for a while and in time of trial draw back away.

And forgive us our sins, for we also forgive everyone who is indebted to us. And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from the evil.

No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also provide a way out, that you may be able to bear it.

then the Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptations and to reserve the unjust for the day of judgment, to be punished,

Because you have kept the Word of My perseverance, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth.

You have commanded us to keep Your Precepts diligently.

O that my ways were fixed to keep Your Statutes!

Your Testimonies also are my delight and my counselors.

DALETH: My soul clings to the dust; revive me according to Your Word.

I will run the course of Your Commandments, for You shall enlarge my heart.

Make me tread the path of Your Commandments, for I delight in it.

Turn away my eyes from looking after vanity, and revive me in Your Way.

ALEPH: Blessed are the upright in the way, who walk in the Law of Jehovah.

They also do no iniquity; they walk in His Ways.

O that my ways were fixed to keep Your Statutes!

I will give thanks unto You with uprightness of heart, when I learn Your righteous Judgments.

BETH: How can a young man cleanse his way? By taking heed according to Your Word.

Your Word have I hidden in my heart, that I might not sin against You.

With my lips have I declared all the Judgments of Your mouth.

I will meditate on Your Precepts, and pay attention to Your ways.

GIMEL: Deal bountifully with Your servant, that I may live and keep Your Word.

I am a sojourner in the earth; do not hide Your Commandments from me.

You have rebuked the proud, the cursed, who go astray from Your Commandments.

Princes also have sat and spoken against me, but Your servant meditates on Your Statutes.

DALETH: My soul clings to the dust; revive me according to Your Word.

Make me understand the way of Your Precepts; so shall I meditate on Your wondrous works.

Remove from me the way of lying, and grant me Your Law graciously.

I have clung to Your Testimonies; O Jehovah, put me not to shame!

HE: Teach me, O Jehovah, the way of Your Statutes, and I shall keep it to the end.

Make me tread the path of Your Commandments, for I delight in it.

Turn away my eyes from looking after vanity, and revive me in Your Way.

Yea, in the way of Your judgments, O Jehovah, we have waited for You; for the desire of our soul is Your name and the remembrance of You.

With my soul I have desired You in the night; yea, with my spirit within me I will seek You early; for when Your judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world learn righteousness.

For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh) nothing good dwells; for to desire is present with me, but how to perform what is good I do not find.

Now if I do what I do not wish to do, it is no longer I doing it, but sin that dwells in me.

For I delight in the Law of God according to the inward man.

O wretched man that I am! Who will deliver me from the body of this death?

For what the Law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh, God did by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh; and on account of sin, He condemned sin in the flesh,

But I discipline my body and bring it into subjection, lest, when I have preached to others, I myself should become disqualified.

I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.

For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish.

And those who are Christ's have crucified the flesh with its passions and lusts.

Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold, since Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me.

I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.
