Whoever therefore relaxes one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of Heaven; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of Heaven.

For I say to you, that unless your righteousness exceeds that of the scribes and Pharisees, you will by no means enter the kingdom of Heaven.

Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in Heaven is perfect.

These are the generations of Noah. Noah was a just man, perfect in his generation. Noah walked with God.

And when Abram was ninety-nine years old, Jehovah appeared to Abram and said to him, I am the Almighty God! Walk before Me and be perfect;

There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and the man was perfect and upright, and one who feared God and turned away from evil.

Observe the perfect and consider the upright one; for the latter time of that man is peace.

A disciple is not above his teacher, but everyone who has been fitted out will be like his teacher.

Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold, since Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me.

I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.

Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves dig through and steal;

but lay up for yourselves treasures in Heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not dig through and steal.

Then Jesus, looking at him, loved him, and said to him, One thing you lack: Go your way, sell whatever you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in Heaven; and come, take up the cross, and follow Me.

Sell what you have and give alms; provide yourselves money bags which do not grow old, a treasure in Heaven that does not fail, where a thief does not come near nor moth destroys.

So likewise, whoever of you does not bid farewell to all that he has is not able to be My disciple.

And I say to you, make friends for yourselves by unrighteous mammon, that when it fails, they may receive you into eternal dwellings.

So when Jesus heard these things, He said to him, You still lack one thing. Sell everything that you have and distribute to the poor, and you will have treasure in Heaven; and come, follow Me.

and sold their possessions and goods, and distributed them to each person, as anyone had need.

Now the multitude of those believing were of one heart and one soul; neither did anyone say that any of the things he possessed was his own, but they had all things in common.

Nor was there anyone needy among them; for all who were possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the proceeds of the things that were sold,

Command those who are rich in this present age not to be high-minded, nor to trust in the uncertainty of riches but in the living God, who gives us richly all things to enjoy.

storing up for themselves a good foundation for the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life.

for you had compassion on me in my bonds, and joyfully accepted the plundering of your goods, knowing, yourselves, that you have a better and an enduring possession in Heaven.

And Jesus said to them, Truly I say to you, that in the regeneration, when the Son of Man sits on the throne of His glory, you who have followed Me will also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

And He says to them, Come after Me, and I will make you fishers of men.

But Jesus said to him, Follow Me, and let the dead bury their own dead.

And as Jesus passed on from there, He saw a man named Matthew sitting at the tax office. And He said to him, Follow Me. So he arose and followed Him.

Then Jesus said to His disciples, If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me.

And as He passed by, He saw Levi the son of Alphaeus sitting at the tax office. And He said to him, Follow Me. So he arose and followed Him.

And when He had called the people to Himself, with His disciples also, He said to them, Whoever desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me.

Then Jesus, looking at him, loved him, and said to him, One thing you lack: Go your way, sell whatever you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in Heaven; and come, take up the cross, and follow Me.

And after these things He went out and saw a tax collector named Levi, sitting at the tax office. And He said to him, Follow Me.

Then He said to them all, If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me.

So when Jesus heard these things, He said to him, You still lack one thing. Sell everything that you have and distribute to the poor, and you will have treasure in Heaven; and come, follow Me.

My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.

If anyone serves Me, let him follow Me; and where I am, there My servant will be also. If anyone serves Me, My Father will honor him.
