And when he had agreed with the laborers for a denarius a day, he sent them into his vineyard.

And this is the manner of the release: Every creditor who has loaned anything to his neighbor shall let it drop; he shall not exact it of his neighbor or his brother, because it has been proclaimed the release of Jehovah.

After serious thought, I rebuked the nobles and rulers, and said to them, Each of you is exacting usury from his brother. So I appointed a great assembly against them.

I also, with my brethren and my servants, am lending them money and grain. Now let us leave off this usury!

Restore now to them, even this day, their fields, their vineyards, their olive groves, and their houses, also a hundredth of the money and the grain, the new wine and the oil, that you have charged them.

If the peoples of the land brought wares or any grain to sell on the Sabbath day, we would not buy it from them on the Sabbath, nor on a holy day; and we would forego the seventh year's produce and the tribute from every hand.

They say, Why have we fasted, and You do not see? Why have we afflicted our souls, and You take no notice? Behold, in the day of your fast you devise pleasures, and oppress all your laborers.

Thus says the Lord Jehovah: Enough, O rulers of Israel! Put away violence and plundering, execute justice and righteousness, and stop dispossessing My people, says the Lord Jehovah.
